The Grey Giftmonger

The Grey Giftmonger (Griseo donum exsecutor) is an omnivorous animal native to the Frengorn Jungle and Takkbannuk and Sirhannat Islands. The Giftmongers can live on a green diet, but love meat and, slower than their prey, they go to great lengths to set traps and ambush small animals - vermins, rabbits, different kinds of birds, using flowers, shiny stones, sticks, and colorful mushrooms. They are also known for their aggressiveness and tendencies to attack enemies bigger than themselves and snack on them. Even Gronthars give wild Giftmongers’ trap shrines a wide berth.

The Orcen Animal Tamers were the first to train the Giftmongers as mounts, and praise highly their berserk fighting skills - neither Orc nor Giftmonger will ever desert from a battle. In the last 100 years, the Giftmongers became popular raids for the Winter Solstice festivities, and a cage was added to their gear, to collect the bones of the naughty Domination children they have eaten.
